Hayley is dropped off by her mum at her dad’s new place for the first time since they broke up. Her dad is a hungover mess, still unable to accept the break-up. He’s not in any condition to deal with Hayley or join in with her games the way he usually would, and he eventually snaps and tells her to go and play outside. When she wanders out of the estate and into the woods, she finds herself embroiled in a dangerous adventure of her own making. When dad wakes up and realises she hasn’t come back, he’s forced to snap out of it if he’s going to redeem himself.
